This policy describes the personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we store it, and when we share it with service providers. Need the short version? We use your data to run the signing workflow and to keep the platform safe.

West Haven, Connecticut info@apluspaperless.com

If you use A+ Paperless to upload documents, request signatures, or ask for support, you may share your name, email address, phone number, file name, signer emails, document metadata, and related message content. Why collect that much? Only because the workflow depends on it: routing documents, sending notifications, and keeping an audit trail that helps prove who signed what, and when.

We collect only what we need to deliver e-signature services, respond to requests, and keep the platform reliable. That includes information you type into forms, files you upload, and the technical details needed to move documents through a signature workflow.

  • Personal data: Name, email address, phone number, and any details you include in a contact or support form.
  • Document metadata: File name, signer email addresses, routing status, timestamps, and related workflow notes.
  • Cookies and analytics: Basic browser and usage data that helps us measure performance and protect the site.

Could we run the service without this? Not really. But we do keep the collection tight, and we don’t ask for anything that doesn’t support the signing journey.

We use information to process signatures, send document notifications, support users, prevent abuse, and meet legal or regulatory obligations. We also look at aggregate usage patterns so we can make the interface easier to navigate.

  • To provide the signing service and manage document workflows.
  • To improve user experience and fix performance issues.
  • To fulfil security, audit, and legal compliance requirements.

We never sell personal data. If a service provider helps us operate the platform, they’re bound by confidentiality and may only use the data for that service.

We share data only with carefully selected vendors that help with hosting, email delivery, analytics, or support infrastructure. They receive the minimum necessary data and must protect it under their own contractual duties.

If law enforcement or a court compels disclosure, we may also have to share data. When that happens, we follow the law and disclose only what’s required.

How We Protect Your Information

Your documents deserve more than a generic promise. We use encrypted transport, encrypted storage, access controls, and regular security reviews to reduce risk at every step.

Security isn’t a finish line here. It’s built into the workflow from upload to archive.

Access controls

Only authorised team members can reach sensitive systems, and access is reviewed routinely.

Regular assessments

We perform recurring security checks to spot weak points before they become problems.

Cookie preferences

You can manage non-essential cookies and analytics preferences through your browser or site controls.

AES-256 encryption

Files at rest are protected with strong encryption, while transfers use secure transport protocols.

Encryption in transit

Data moving between your browser and our systems is protected while it travels. That matters, right?

Incident response

We maintain procedures for investigating issues, limiting impact, and restoring service quickly.

Audit-friendly records

Workflow events are logged so signature activity stays traceable without exposing unnecessary details.
